At the Clark-Fulham trial at Allahabad, Mrs. Fulham's letters to Clark between 24th July and '29th July explained -hat she had administered the powder t o her husband in Sinatogen. She asked Clar'c to send some liquid after disguising \he taste. She proposed to adminis er it in mulligatawny soup. In Septenber Mrs. Fulhara asked Clark to reconc !e himself to his loss of her, as her hu band was recovering. Writing in Novemi er she said that tl>e happy climax had ye* to come. She * oped it would result 1.. their long and happy married life. C. rk in October wrote to Mrs. Fulham seating that he was unable to repay her for what she had done. He trusted sone day lo prove his grateful love throup'i God's help and blessing.
