KILBIRNIE SKATING RINK.
The Kilbimie Skating Rink will reopen on Monday evening. Sessions will be held from 6 to 10 p.m." until further notice, with a learners' session from • 6 to 7. The band will be in attendance. The Worsor Bay Swimming and Life Saving Club (incorporated) held another of then- enjoyable dances on Wednesday last. The attendance was a record one, close on 100 people being present, including a number of visitors from town. The Karkariki Savage Club orchestra favoured the company with a musical item, which was much appreciated, and 1 dancing to the music ot Mr. Clifford Baker was continued until nearly 2 a.m. Extras were played by Miss Barker, and the Messrs. Green. Mr. J. Hughes was a very capable M.C. The opportunity was taken of wishing farewell to Mr., ' Mrs. and the Misses_ Paul, who are leaving shortly for a trip to the Old Country. Thanks are duo to the Entertainment Committee — Mesdames Bradley, Berry, and Rowntree ; Misses O. M'Farlano and C. Kircher, and Messrs. Bell, Berry, ,C. Green, and Gardner— for a delightful evening.
