SHORTT'S PICTURES.
People interested at all in naval matters will find something tto please them at Shortt's Continuous Picture Theatre, where the management is screening as a "star." a film entitled "Romance of the U.S.A. Navy." ( A large number of the biggest warships are depicted in this film. The j yitagraph Company has excelled itself in the study, "When California was Young," and "Bettina's Substitute 1 ' is a pleasing little comedy. There was a large attendance at the matinee this afternoon. There will be a change of programme on Monday, when "Platform of Death," a circus picture, will be screened for one day only, and on Tuesday and Wednesday "The French Spy" will be substituted.
