THEATRE ROYAL.
"Tho King of the Silver Wires" (Paul Gordon) delighted his audience at the Theatre Royal last night with his marvellous exhibitions on the slack wires. Placing a Gmall wooden ladder on . the wire, he mounted on one eido and descended on the other with the greatest of ease, using no balancing canes or other aide generally used by wire-rope performers. "La France" was attractive in tho limelight scenes ; Pedrini'e juggling was a clever furn^as wae also that of Hassan, .tho l"indoo Magician. The American comic songsters (Slavin and Thompson), Ernest Pitcher (comiquo), Arthur Elliott, tho Elliott Sisters, and Miss Maud Fanning contributed their share to t an excellent programme.
