GOVERNMENT HOUSE, SYDNEY
. ♦ CASE IN COURT. JUDGMENT HAS BEEN RESERVED. By Tptegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. , SYDNEY, 26th February. Argument has concluded, and judg> ment has been reserved in the Govern' ment House case. Counsel for the .citizens' committee argued that a» the Governor was an Imperial officer and the representative of the King, the Crown set apart land for his residence. Such residence came within the category of Imperial property, with which a colonial Government had no right to interfere. It was vested in the King in his regal capacity, nnd was not the nation's property. As to the argument that the Court was not constituted for reviewing the policy of the Government, Ministers must not forget that they are not a laV unto themselves, and the sooner they understand that they must not act unlawfully the better.
