SCOTTISH SOCIETY
The Scottish Society of Wellington held a successful progressive euchre party in Hall's Rooms, Cuba-street, last evening. There was a very large attendance. Mrs. W- Ritson won tne ladies' prize, and Miss A. M'Naughton won the consolation prize for ladies. The gentlemen's prize was won by Mr. Gardiner, Mr. Downie winning the booby prize. Mr.~ While, chieftain, presented the prizes. He also announced that the next function of the society would be a social in St. Peter's Hall in April.
