(»T TELEOIIAMt— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WHANQAREI, This Day. # A six-roomed house at Hukei'enui. owned by tho Railway Department and occupied by a guard named Dunu, was destroyed by fire at midnight. Nothing was saved. There is a policy of £100 on the furniture in the Standard office. Tho building was not insured. The causa of the fire is unknown. Tho building was valued at about £500.
