Arrangements have been made with the Boys' Training Farm to exhibit extensively at th« forthcoming Hortioultural Society's show, to be held eafly next month. A movement is on foot to establish a cooperative cheese factory at Monakau, and a meeting will be held next week for the purpose. Owing to a misunderstanding 1 , the Horowhenua cricket team did not journey to Porirua on Saturday, but will probably play there next week. Due to the recent rains, feed has taken a ffeeh lease of life, and pastures are Bhowing to advantage. The mUk yield is also satisfactory.
