SENIOR CADET TOURNAMENT

\ ENTRIES CLOSE TO-MOEROW. The entries for the Senior Cadet tournament, to bo held at Newtown Park during Easter, close to-morrow. At a meeting of the comrnitteo Held last night, the secretary reported that indications pointed to a very successful tournament. Good progress was being made with the arrangements, and a big entry was promised. It was decided to add the following items to the programme :•— March past, massed display of physical drill, and a sham fight. The programme will commence at 3 o'clock on Easter Saturday, and the following events will be decided that day :— March past of all local Senior Cadets, massed display of physical drill, sham fight, in conjunction with St. John Ambulance Association, and , the route march. It is probable that the bugle competition will also be decided while the route march is in progress. The other items (rifle exercises, squad drill, company physical drill, signalling) will be decided on Monday. The champion cup will be given to the j company scoring most points in the route marching, rifle exercises, squaddrill, and physical drill, points to count 3, 2, and 1 for first, second, and third places respectively. !
