RIFLE SHOOTING
SUBURBS OLUB. On Saturday afternoon the Suburbs Club continued tho shooting for trophies presented by MessreT- Hemp ton and Bellamore, Witoombo aud.pym, and the club, at Broadway range, Miramar. The best shoot of the day Was by Rifluinan J. E. Given, with 4t at 300 yds, and 48 at '500 yds. H, &. Hunt put on the next' beat score with 93 — both scores being off the rifle. J. E. Given won" the silver Spodn for the best score at 500 yds, \Vith 48, beating C. J. Fiaher on tho count back. The club will finish tho fourth sfiiios on Wednesday next at ".ranges 300 and 600 yds. Next Saturday will be devoted to practice by those members not vlaititig the Trentham meeting. J. L. Turner, T. J! Cha'p J mah, and A. H. Symondrf will represent 'tho club at tho Wairarapa rifle meeting, and' at the Dominion meeting the club will be represented by the following : — O, Whiteman,' J. H. Ross, J* Smart/ J. L. Turner, J..
