PREMIER'S SECOND DUEL
On Bth January the Hungariah Premier, Count Stephen Tisza, fought another duel with swords, this time with Count Aladar Szecheny, a member of the Opposition in the Hungarian Diet. A week before, it will be recalled, tho Premier fought a sword duel of thirtytwo rounds with Count Michael Karolyi, another member of the Opposition, who was vory seriously injured. That affray arose put of a quarrel at the Nobles Club, following Count Tisza's successful effort to break down the obstructionist tactics of the Opposition. The second duel was the outcome of a letter written by Count Szechenyi to tho Premier, saying that he had, by an error, owing to the darkness, recently shaken tho Premier's hand on entering the Nobles Club. He would not have done so had he recognised him. Count Tisza challenged Count Szechenyi to the duel, and the combatants to fight to disability. At the' first assault Count Szeohenyi received a fierce blow on the head, upon which the doctors and seconds doclared the duel finished.
