TOURNAMENT AT WAIttARAPA. (BY XEtEQttAPtt— fRBSS ASSOCIATION.) MASTERTON, 23rd January. The Wairarapa teniite tournament was continued to-day in fine weath&r. The courts were in good order, and some interesting games were witnessed. Mies R. Wellwood, of Hastings, won the Ladies' Championship Singles from Miss R. Hughes, of Pahiatua, 9<5 in the final. Men's Handicap Singles $ G. R. Thynne, of Madterton. beat W. W. Qabites, Masterton, 3*o, 7-0, 6-2. In the Ladies' Handicap Singles, Miss L. M. Hughes, of Pahiatua, beat Miss G. Booth, of Masterton. The tournament will be completed tomorrow.
