LATE SPORTING
Bobrikoff was scratched at 12.46 today for the Consolation Handicap, one and a-quarter miles, to be decided at the Wellington Racing Club meeting tomorrow. The annual draft of thoroughbred yearlings from the Waikanae stud were offered for sale by auction this afternoon Iby Messrs. Pine and Co. There was large attendance at the ringside, but up Ito the time of going to press only | moderate prices were realised.
