;' CONFERENCE OF DELEGATES - i . ; Delegates representing various Dominion branches of the Overseas Club met ill conference at«the Town flails to-day. Ifte list of the delegates has already toceii published. Mr. H. G. Ell (Christdhurch), Mr. Patefson (Wanganui), Mr. Jt. M. Myers (Auckland), and Mr. A.B. fanning (Hamilton), wrote expressing j*gret at their inability to be present. * The Mayor welcomed the- delegates- and interesting address. ijfOn the motion of Mr. IT. Milnei* (pamaru) a hearty vote of thanks was accorded the Mayor for his address. Sif U. O. Gibbes was then votetl to-th© dhair as his Worship had to leave.
