Sir Francis Leveson Bertie) has presented M. Poincare with King George's congratulations on the occasion of his election. In his communication, His Majesty says he is convinced that there will be a continuance of the cordial friendship uniting the two nations. The Prince of Wales has also expressed his pleasure at M. Poincare's election, and forwards his good wishes.
