The inward and outward San Francisco mail boats are due to arrive and depart next Thursday and Friday respectively. The movements of the three steamers engaged in the service ore appended ;■*- R.M.S. Tahiti will leave Sydney to-morrow afternoon at 3 p.m. for Wellington, arriving here early Thursday morning, she will probably berth at the Glasgow Wharf as usual, and is timed to sail at 5 p.m.. on Friday for San Francisco, virt Rarotonga and Papeete. The vessel is due at Rarotonga on the sth February at Papeete on the Bth, and at her destination On the 20th. R.M.S. Moana left San Francisco on the Bth January for Wellington, via the Island ports. She is due here some thne next Thursday, and will sail *n continuation of her voyage to Sydney at 5 p.m. the next day. R.M.S. Aorangi was due at San Francisco yesterday from Sydney and Wellington. She remains in that port until the Sth February, leaving on that date for Wellington, via way ports. She is due here again on the 4th March. THE HURTJNUI LOADING. The New Zealand Shipping Company's s.s. Hurunui left Port Chalmers on Wednesday for the Bluff, where she commenced loading for London, From the Bluff the vessel will return to Port 'Chalmers, and will later go on to Timaru and Napier. From the latter port she comes to Wellington, leaving here finally about the Bth February. , 4V4 V THE KENT'S MOVEMENTS. Loading under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the F. and S, liner Kent was to-day due at Auckland from Napier. She will sail from Auckland for Tokomaru Bay, Oisborne, and Wellington, and is fixed to sail from this port about 3rd February for London. IN TOUCH BY WIRELESS. The postal authorities advise that the undermentioned Vessels will probably be within wireless range of the Auckland and Wellington stations this evening :— Ulimaroa (bdund from Wellington to Melbourne, via south and Hobart), Victoria (from Wellington to Dunedin, via Lyttelton), Maheno (from Sydney to Auckland direct), Warrimoo (from Wellington to Sydney direct), Athenic (from Wellington to London, via way ports), Makarlni (from Wellington to Lyttelton), Tofua (from South Sea Islands to Auckland), and Navua (from Wisllington to Auckland, en route to Suva). The Flora is to leave Westport at JLI o'clock to-night for Dunedm. Mr. W. J, Neville, assistant purser on the Pateena, has been transferred to the Arahura.
