The Mayor explained that the writer, of the letter was evidently, not aware of the position in connection with the manufacture, and said it is quite harmless, and ' has been used in town.' The" town clerk was instructed to write an explanatory letter to Mr. Goodbehere. Notification was received from the directors of the Seatoun Bowling and Tennis Club, Ltd., of their acceptance of the council's offer. and conditions in connection with the conveniences for tramway employees on the club's ' property, at a cost of £10 for ~ five years, contingent on the council ensuring that none but tramway -employees on duty use the building. This was agreed upon by tKe council. The letter afso < stated that the builders had received instructions to alter ' the place to enable this arrangement to be 'given effect to.
