| SUBURBS CLUB* DAILY' MAIL CUP. Tho members of the Suburbs Rifle Club had a field day at Trentham on Wednesday, when the Daily Mail Fifty Guinea Challohgo Cup was fired for, aver ranges 300, 600,. 600, 800, 900, and 1000 yards, seven shota at each range. Tho cup was won by Rifleman T. Goodall, with a fine score of 166 out of' a possible 210. Rifleman Goodall must be congratulated on his, brilliant finish over 800, 900, ahd.looo yards, where he scored 100. Rifleman H. Boon won the LadieV Bracelet for the best scoro over 300, 500, and 600 yards, with another fino aggregate of 100, Riflemen J. Given and H. Snelling being close up, with 99 each. The Newton aggregate over 800, 900, and 1000 yards Was won by Rifleman J. L. Turner with another 100, Rifleman Tumor beating 'Rifleman T. Goodall on the opunt back for fifst prize. Rifleman A. Turner,, with. 33, won the Silver Spoohs for the best scqro at 1000 yards. The weather conditions in the morning were not too good, but the afternoon proved all that could 'be desired for good jhootihg and big scores. Riflemen, J. L. Turner, H. Hums and 'H. Boon tied for Becond and third places in tha aggregate, and in the fire-off of five • shots, J. L. Turner was first with 20, H. Boon second with 16, and H. Hunt with 14 third. Deputy-President O. H. G. raha** was' in charge Ot the shootihg, assisted by the secretary and members of the Shooting Committee. On Saturday the olub< visits Trentham for long range shooting.
