At the-Te Aro Baths yesterday evening the Switts Club decided two heats of the second distance of the Smith Cup (100 yds). The heats resulted as follow :— First Heat.— R. Grimmett (15sec), 1; A. Russell (llBec), 2; A. M. Farnall (16sec), 3. Also started :E. Vango. (22sec£ W. Findlay (I9sec), L. Butler (17sec), it. K. Johnston (llsec), T. Woodcock (llsSc). Time, 79 l-ssec. Second Heat.— W. Wilton (Tsec), 1; G. M'Grath (ssec), 2; G. Paterson (2aec), 3. Also started : J. Smith (7sec), H. Mullins (4860)^ C. V. Fordham (3sec), «E. Charters • (3sec), A. Smith (2sec/i Time, 76 4-Ssec. The final will be swum on Thursday j evening. , . '
