WANGANUI AND NORTH TARANAKI
WANGANUI, 26th December. North Taranaki and Wanganui repEesentatives met yesterday and to-day, Wanganui winning by ten wickets. Wanganui scored 257, and -North Taranaki 124. Going in again, the latter put np 261, leaving Wanganui with 129 to get to' win. This task was accomplished. INTER-STATE MATCH ; NEW SOUTH WALES v. VICTORIA. New South Wales made 84 in the first innings — Trtanper 26, Collins 15, and Moor© 16, were the chief scorers. Victoria lost nine wickets for 181 runs — Carroll 73, Ransford Z? t Baring (not out) 36, Armstrong 15.
