MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Before Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., at tho Magistrate's Court this morning, several first-offending inebriatea'w'ere lightly dealt witih Charles Miller, who had a previous conviction entered against his name, was fined 10s for insobriety, and Edward Taylor was ordered to pay the cost of curativo treatment necessary after a lapse from sobriety, Mr. T. Bland, J.P., presided at a sitting 1 of the Mount Cook Police Court this morning, When several cases of drunkenness were dealt with. William J. Milligan and three first offenders were convicted and discharged, and M. Keating, Augustus Flux, and George Harley were each fined 10s, in default ordered to undergo forty-eight hours' detention.
