Messrs. J. H. Bcthune and Company will sell on Wednesday, Bth January, -at 2.30 p.m., at their rooms, under instructions from the Registrar of the Supreme Court, a Roseneath property, comprising freehold land having an atfea of 2 roods 20 perches with the five dwellings thereon. On Thursday, 19th inst., at 2.30 p.m., at their rooms, the firm, under instructions from the district engineer, on behalf of the Railway Department, are submitting nine leasehold allotments. Hutt-road and Thorndon Esplanade. The leases for four of the allotments are for a term of 21 years, while the leases of the other five allotments are from year to year. Messrs. P>ethune and Company insert an amended list of business and residential properties which they have on their boo,ks for private sale, also a number of houses to let, both furnished and unfurnished, offices, and storeroom accommodation. Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Co. will hold a sale of furniture 'at Farm-road, Northland, on Tuesday, at 2 o'clock, on account of Mrs. Meale, who is leaving for Sydney. On Wednesday,- at 1.30 p.m.. at their rooms, 26, Brandon-street, they conduct their weekly sale of furniture*; also at 2.30 they will sell three, new pianos to clear up consignment. At the residence, 6, Angus-avenue, on Thursday next, commencing at 2 o'clock, they will sell the contents of 5 rooms, including piano. On Tuesday, the 17th, at 1.50 p.m., they will sell at No. ,218, Tinakori-road, the contents of 6 rooms, including Neufeld piano. The firm also insert preliminary notice of a sale . they ore holding under instructions from Captain Duignah, who is leaving for India, on Wednesday. 18th December, commencing at 12.30 sharp. The sale will be held at the residence, No. 81, Island Bay, and includes piano. Messrs. E. Johnston and Co. will hold a sale of household fufniture and appointments at the family residence, "Braemar," No. 4A4 A Upland-road, Kelburne, on Tuesday, at 1.50 o'clock. The furniture will be/ on view .on Monday from 2 till 5, arid on the morning of the sale. On Wednesday,. at their rooms, the firm will hold a sale, of oak furnishings, and on Thursday, on the premises, No. 4, Manly-street (off Colombo-street, Newtown^ they will sell Mrs. Nielson's furnishings, including upright grand piano. The furniture will be on view on Wednesday afternoon, and the sale will commence at 1 sharp. On Friday and Monday, 13th and 16th December, at 2 o'clock each day, they will sell £1000 worth' of jewellery, c.p. ware, etc., without reserve. Messrs. Thomson and Brown will sell by 1 public auction at their rooms, 105, Customhouse-quay, on Wednesday, 18th December, at 2.30 p.m., a property in Daniel-street, Wellington South. .Particulars are advertised in this issue. Messrs. ToWnsend and Paul, Ltd., will sell at auction in their Allen-street yards, on Tuesday next, at 11 a.m., carrier's turnout, comprising double , lorry, 2 mares, and 2 sets harness.
