The next best despatch for Canada, United States of America, Central America, and West Indies, also United Kingdom, *ill be via Rarotonga, Tahiti, and San Frandsco, closing at Wellington, per Moana on Friday, 6th December, nt 3 p.m. The next beat despatch for Continent of Europe will be via Naples, closing at Wellington, per Ullmaroa, on Friday, 6th December, at 3.80 p.m. Mails for Chatham Islands close at Lyttelton, per Himitangi, on Tuesday, 10th inst., at 4 p.m. Unless otherwise specified registered letters and parcels-post packages must be handed in and money orJers obtained one hour before the ordinary mail closes. Money orders for abroad must be obtained two hours before the advertised time of closing mails. All the principal malls by train and steamer close at Te Aro and Courtenay Place Post Offices at the same hours ac at the Chief Post Office, with ,the exception that there is no late-fee Clearance, and that mails hy the ferry steamers for Southern Offices, also mails for Auckland and Auckland district by Second Main Trunk Train close at 8 p.m. All books and sample packets and newspapers for places within the Dominion muet be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter mail closes.
