TO-DAY'S PROCEEDINGS LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL The Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Births and Deaths Registration Bill was reported from the Statutes Revision Committee, with amendments. The Mokau Harbour Board Empowering Bill was reported from the Statutes Revision Committee without amendment. Leave of absence was granted to the Hon. G. J. Smith on account of iUhealth. The Aged and Infirm Persons Protection Bill was committed. (Left sitting.)
