TRACK- WORK AT. HASTINGS.

HASTINGS, This Day. The weather was fine for the track work this morning. All work was done on the plough gallop. Easy,, Goldfinder, and Ariom finished in that order after going once round in lmin 43^sec. The former got the best of the start and the best of the Weights, Right Oh went five furlongs in limn 8 2-ssec, Pot Luck' six furlongs in ( lmin 25sec, Facsimile and 'Waitoke finished together over five furlongs in lmin 6sec, and Tigarine went four furlongs in 53sec. Bravest galloped once round in lmin 49sec. Waitai and Crimson Rose went four furlongs in 56eec, and Afohakau and Hukareia six furlongs in lmin 21«ec. Tupaea and Zarowman went once round over hurdles in lmin Sl^see. Diavolo and Merton, the former going best, covered four furlongs in Sl^sec Manitau and Seaton* dale were in that order after going once round in lmin 46|sec. Thrave went six furlongs in lmin 23^sec. Others out were Hinemanu, St. Elm, Warlight, Waimahora, Mozella, Triezt, and Waikehua. After breakfast Elevator finished in front of Fair Average after going once round, the last seven furlongs taking lmin 35sec.
