WON BY H. MORRISON. By Telegraph.— Pres* Association.- Copyright. MELBOURNE, 19th September. The tie between Captain Burnham (England) and H. Morrison (Victoria) for the amateur golf championship of Australia was played off to-day. Morri-i son won, 3 up and 1 to play, after an exciting contest. The winnei, who is only 21 years of age, successively defeated Murdoch (Victorian amateur champion), Whitton (open champion of Australia), and Captain Burnham.
