MANOEUVRES ENDED. By Telegraph.— Prew Association,- Copyright. LONDON, 19th September. The army manoeuvres have terminated. Neither side gained any great advantage, though the Reds' (attacking) cavalry captured the whole of the Blues' mounted transport. GUNNERS INJURED. LONDON, 19th September. In the course of the manoeuvres at Newmarket, a cartridge backfired and blew out the breach of a gun. One gunner had an arm blown off, and another was injured in the face. GAMMA IL DROPS FIREBALLS. (Received September 20, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, 19th September. During the Army manoeuvres, the British military airship Gamma 11. dropped fireballs at Cambridge, including the quadrangle of Trinity College, where King George was staying. PERFECTION OF AERIAL SCOUTING. USE OF~WIRELESS. (Received September 20, 10.23 a.m.) LONDON, 19th September. Critics attribute the premature end of the manoeuvres to the perfection of the aerial scouting and the efficiency of the wireless used by the aeroplanes. This nullified the success of tactical movements.
