LEAGUE GAME
[bt tei.«oeaph— press association.] WANGANUI, 19th September. The New South Wales League team played a match with the local men today. The weather conditions were very good, and there was an attendance of about 3000. The visitors were heavier, faster, and more experienced than the local men, but although the score was 52 points to 24 (in favour of New South Wales) at the finish, the game was a most attractive one, and utterly devoid of rough play. In the first spell the score was 26 points to 9. The scorers were: Davis (3 tries), M'Murtrio (2), M'Cue (2), Sullivan/ Gleeson, " Viv *' Farns worth, Williams, and Canu. Frawley concerted four tries, and M'Gregor f,our. For Wanganui, Buckland (2), Siddells, Hogan, Robinson, and Martin scored tries. Sogan converted two and Siddells one, while Hogan Kicked a penalty goal.
