The Governor (Mr. Dix) has prohibited the projected Macfarland-Wolgast lightweight championship bout, which was fixed to be fought at the Madison-square Roof Garden. Shoes for ladies and some special lines for gentlemen are advertised at the stocktaking sale of Edwards and Son,' Manners-street, and Hatait-ai.
