Two rounds of the championships were Slayed. Kurepo Tareha (Wairarapa) efeated Colbeck (Auckland) 4 up and 3 to play. D. G. Moore (Manawatu) defeated J. Goss (Wanganui) 2 up. A. Barraud (Manawatu) defeated F. Gordon (Napier) 4 up and 3 to play. 0. H. Druce (Pahiatua-) ' defeated W. T. D. Harm&n (Christchurch) 2 up and 1 to play. Imlay Saunders (Wanganui) defeated J. B. Lusk (Auckland)~3 up and 2 to play. H. B. Lusk beat W. SeifeH, and K,api Tareha heat T. Cross© easily, and A. Seifert beat L. Seifert 3 up and '2 to play. THIRD ROUND. In the afternoon H. 8.
