MANAWATU CHAMPIONSHIP. [81 TRLKQRAPH—PRR3B ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON N., 11th Sept. There was good weather for the continuation of the Manawatu Golf Championship Meeting. SECOND ROUND. Two rounds of the championships were Slayed. Kurepo Tareha (Wairarapa) efeated Colbeck (Auckland) 4 up and 3 to play. D. G. Moore (Manawatu) defeated J. Goss (Wanganui) 2 up. A. Barraud (Manawatu) defeated F. Gordon (Napier) 4 up and 3 to play. 0. H. Druce (Pahiatua-) ' defeated W. T. D. Harm&n (Christchurch) 2 up and 1 to play. Imlay Saunders (Wanganui) defeated J. B. Lusk (Auckland)~3 up and 2 to play. H. B. Lusk beat W. SeifeH, and K,api Tareha heat T. Cross© easily, and A. Seifert beat L. Seifert 3 up and '2 to play. THIRD ROUND. In the afternoon H. 8. Lu«k beat Saundew 1 up. Barraud beat Kurepo Tareha 1 «up. Druce beat Moore, and Kapi Tareha beat A. Seifert easily. SEMIFINAL. Barraud meets Druce and Kapi Tar»« ha meets Saundets in the semi-final. BOGEY MATCH. H. Croesft (6) 3 up won th« 18-hole bogey, J, R. M'Lennan (11) 2 up, being second, STROKE HANDICAP. The best score* in the Stroke Handicap were : J. R. Strang, 82— 4~~78 ; P. Abraham, 88— 9— ?9; W. T. Harman, 83-3-80; E. S. Pearce, 87-7.-80 5 R. Stowe, 94— 14—80.
