ARRIVALS. September 12— Knliti, p.p. (3.45 p.m.), 182 tons, Shirley from Ka*t Coast. The Tyser steamer Mimlro, which sailed from Sydney on Thursday last, arrived at Auckland on Tuesday mornihg from London, via Australian ports. The postal authorities advise that tlie following vessels will probably be within wireless communication of Wellington this evening:— Victoria (bound from Wellington to Sydney, via Auckland). Remuera (fiom London to Wellington, via Hobart), Maunganui (from Ljttelton to Wellington, en route to Sydney), and Mocraki (from Wellington to Lj Helton, en route to Melbourne). As the Post went to press today the steamers Haupiri and Blenheim were signalled ftko the ketch Jane. The Binemoa. finished operations at Castlepoint this morning, and sailed for Wellington. She is due here tlila evening. The Vessel Will leave early next week, prohably on Monday, on her periodical visit to the Southern lighthouse*. Owing to her late arrival from Gisborne the departure of the Waimea for Nelson and West Coast, has been delayed until to-morrow. The Waitemata, at present discharging part of her Newcastle cargo at Wellington, will leave foi t'.ie toutliem port* mentioned In yesterday's Post, on Saturday. The ltakanoa nnd Kaitangata. are timed to leave Westport for Wellington at 10 o'clock to-night. Atter partial discharge the Kaitangatn. will go on to LyttclKM. A message from East Cnpe reports that the Navua, bound from Auckland to Wellington with Island fruit, passed there at 10 o'clock this morning. She was encountering a strong wind with rough sea*. The Union Company's new steamer Karamu, which is loading timber at Greymouth lop Sydney, will probably sail on Saturday. Afteiwards she will go to Newcastle to load coal for Wanganui. The Awaliou, which sailed on Monday last, did not wofk Blackhead on her way up the coast to Napier. This ehe will do on her return trip, commenced to-day. If the weather Is satisfactory, the Awahou should arrive here On Saturday. The Kennedy is due tt Wellington on Sunday from Foxton. She will sail on Monday for Nelson, and West Coaet.
