—■-■■■ - ■ »■■ ■ The barometer has fallen again very low in the South and squally winds are back to westerly and northerly. There was squally weather in Cook Strait last night and a heavy thunderstorm, with hail, was experienced on the West Coast of the South Island. More showery and changeable weather is probable, with snow in the South. The wind, wjiich will be from the west to the southwest, is likely to increase considerably.
