In the first spell tho South nod the advantage of a strong wind, but good tackling by the North Wa-ndors saved the situation. In the second spell the Northern bocks, particularly Sid and Stan Reid, F. Cm*, and A. Oliver did good work. The gam© rwmlted in North's favour by 6 point* to nil. Oliver severely strained Wb left ankle. He is still in bed and is unlikely to bo able to ride to-morrow.
