ANOTHER TEST OF FEELING CANDIDATES FOR MIDLOTHIAN SEAT LETTER FROM MASTER OF ELIBANK RESENTED. By Telegraph—Prees Assoclattoti.-Copyrithi. LONDON, 10th August. The Master of Elibank, who has been raised to the peerage, hearing that the miners intended to nominate their agent, Mr. Robert Brown, for his late seat, Midlothian, has offered to ask the prospective Liberal candidate to stand for another constituency. The Master of Elibank hopes to return to politics in five years' time. (Received August 12, -&5 a.m.) LONDON, Uth August. The Master of Elibank's letter is resented in some Liberal cireleß. The Edinburgh Liberal Executive has nominated Mr. Alexander Shaw, barrister. Lord Shaw's son. Major Hope is the Unionist candidate. The miners' delegates have unanimously recommended Mr. Brown's candidature. PREPARING FOR NEXT ELECTION LONDON, 10th August. The Westminster Gazette Btates that the Labour and Socialist Parties already have 150 candidates ready for the next General Election, including Mr. Ben Tillett. ,
