CHRISTCHURCH, 11th July. !An agreement was arrived at before the Council of Conciliation in the hair- 1 dressers and tobacconists' assistants' dis- ! pute, on the following basis: — 52 hours per week ; not later, than 8 gan. on three ] days ; not' later than 6 p.m. on one day ; not. later than 1 pan. on .the weekly halfholiday; -work to cease at 9.15 p.m. on Saturdays ; minimum wage, £2 15s.
