The first spolL ended without, any score, but Boon after resumption in the Bccond, Pakeha, after a splendid piece of combined play, scored, per medium of Gracio. Petone then redoubled their efforts^ and after some line back play, W» M'Ewan' oyoned up the scores, 'finding the net with a' good shot. The game ended shortly after. Tho' Karori v. Hui Mai fixture wa« also played at Karori. and ended "in a victory tor the fotner by threo goals to two. Dwyer and E» A. Leivor (2) .found tho net for Karori, whilo Hay attd M'N&tty acdrod for tho loners. A game wub played at Duppa»Bfcre»t between a. team representing Winders and one from tho Heroawa Club. The match ended in favour of the later 'by 6 goals to 4. For the winners Kuch (2), Caterer (2), and Cragg (2) scored goale, and C. Clementson, who played an oxoollont game, found tho not three times, and Brown onco for the losers. AUCKLAND v.' WELLINGTON. The Auckl&ad hockey represehtutivoß leave Auckland on Sunday, and arrive in Wellington oa Monday afternoon. They will be mot on arrival and entertained while here. They will stay at tho Ocoi- ■ dental Hotel on Monday night, play it Wellington representative eleven on Tuesday at Karori, and leave that evening for Christchuroh to play Canterbury for the Shield.
