SIR G. WHITE'S FUNERAL
AN IMPRESSIVE SPECTACLE. B,y Titegrapft.— Preea Association.— Copyright. LONDON, 29th June. The funeral .of Field-Marshal Sir George White took place yesterday, and provided an impressive spectacle. Lord Roberts represented tho King, while Queen Alexandra, the Kaiser, and other Royal personages were also represented. The pall-bearers included Lord Dundonald, General Sir lan Hamilton, Lieutenant-General Sir Archibald Hunter, Field-Marshal Lord Methuen, Lieu-tenant-General Lord Grenfell, and FieldMarshal Sir Evelyn Wood. , Troops lined the route, and the coffin was covered -with wreaths from their Majesties the King and Queen, Queen Alexandra, tho Kaiser, and members of the garrison that defended Ladysmlth under the leadership of tho dead soldier.
