FRENCH MURDER CASE
' SENSATIONAL TRIAL. By Telegraph.— tittn Association.— Copjrl|ht>. (Received. July 1, 10 a.m.) PARIS, 30th June. The trial of Paul Houssard, who in September last killed M. Guillotin, near Tours, has concluded. Houssard was found .guilty and sentenced to twenty years' imprisonment. The trial was a sensational one, owing to the beauty of .Giullotin's widow, who was brought from Tours in a motor-car daily and smuggled into Court. [Houssard is a cousin of Madame Guillotin. He was also her lover. The woman confessed to a female friend of hers, a Mdlle. Laudreau, that Houssard had shot her husband: Mdlle. Laudreau kept th« eecret for a time, then its weight opppressed her and oho informed the police.]
