DISSATISFACTION IN NOBTH OTAGO. [IT TXLECUtAPH — VB.HSS ASSOCIATION.] OAMARU, This Day. The North Otago branch of the New Zealand Railway Officers' Institute passed a resolution, viewing with deep regret the inconsiderate treatment that had been meted to members of the institute by the Minister for Bailways at the conference with the executive, held in Wellington last week, »od entering a strong protest against the action of the Minister in ignoring and failing to carry out the unanimous recommendations of the Kailways Committee. Members "'of the branch expressed eutire loyalty to the executive council of the institute, and urged members to leave no stone unturned to support the executive id any action they may take to secure improvements in working conditions and remuneration to members of the first division, -as favourably reported upon by the Eailways Committee last session.
