The provisions of this Bill are more drastic than those co sweepingly approved of by the Italian legislators, for although the Uruguayan Government Government does not demand tho immediate extinction of private incur ance companies, they wili henceforth exUt on a very precarious basis of toleration, and it is within the power of the Government to decree their closing at any "lbmunt it chooses.
