BANK FAILURE
CASHIER SENTENCED TWELVE MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT DIRECTORS PUNISHED. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyrlghb. (Received June 26, 11 a.m.) BERNE, 2Stli June. Slbrecht, the cashiev of the Savings Bank at Bulach, in Zurich, which failed recently, the liabilities being 6et down at £280,000. has been sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment, and four of the directors to terms ranging from a. fortnight to three months' imprisonment. [The awkward position the bank got into is said to have been due to the manager, Mueller, speculating with, the funds for over twenty years. Mueller committed suicide.]
