A numerous band of willing workers had made ample provision for the largo number of guests, and everything passed off successfully. Before tho gathering die?porsed, the Rev. W. Pancourt (tho vicar) briefly thanked all thoto who had contributed to the evPning'e enjoyment, specially mentioning Messrs. Fuller and Son, the ladies' committoo under Mm Phillips, and the Superintendent (Mr. J. W. Salmon), who, as usual/- ably controlled the whole proceedings. The Jnrge hall was full to its utmost capacity, but everything passed oft" without a hitch.
