WAIHI GOLD MINING COMPANY. The following cablegram has been cent to the Waihi Company's head office in London : "No. 9 level, Perch winze (at the Perch, crosscut, Edward lode), crosscut at 80 feet; next 12 feet value 32s per ton. Trout winze (at 160 feet north on Edward lode), next 20 feet value 5s per ton. Salmon winze (at 330 feet squth on Edward lode), crosscut at 100 feet ; next 4 feet value 76e per W. No. 10 level Royal lode, east of No. 5 shaft, crosscut, at 120 feet; value 6s 6d per ton. .The full width of the lode is 8 feet. Royal lode> west of No. 4 shaft croKscnt. next 30 feet ; value 3s per ton. Empire lode, east of No. 4 shaft crcsscut, next 25 feet value 16s 6d per ton. Empire lode west of No. 4 shaft crosscut, next 25 feet value 7s per ton. Martha lode south section west of No. 4 shaft crosscut, nexfc 59 feet value 4s per ton." TALISMAN. The following telegram was leceived by the Stock Exchange to-day from Talisman Consolidated : — April Return — Crushed 3600 tons for £17,963 13s 8d; smaller tonnage and decreased output owing to shortage of men in the mm© during the Easter holidays. -Cos.t, 42s 9d; developmant, 14s Id; Mining, 13s 9d ; milling, 12s 8d ; general, 2s 3d.
