A SERIOUS CHARGE.
fBY TfiLEGRAPE— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. 1 Walter Richard Sadler, who figured in I what is known as the Cashel-streel mys.tery, was before the court this morning, charged with having performed an illegal operation at Kaiapoi on Harriet May Keatley on Bth April, and a bimilar operation on the same girl in Wellington on .26th April. The case is attracting a great deal of attention locally. After evidence had been given, Sadler reserved his defence, and was committed for -trial. The second charge is being taken this afternoon.
