ACTION FOR SLANDER SETTLED, Bj Xelegrapti.--Preij AiMciatlon.-Copyricni (Received May 7, 11.15 a.m.) LONDON^ 6th May. The action for elandcv, in which Mr. J. Ramsay Macdonald, Labour M.P. for Falkirk Burghs, was plaintiff, and Mr. Alan Burgoyne, Unionist M.P. for North Kensington (> defendant, has *boen settled. The allegations made hy Mr. Burgoyno ' were withdrawn, and judgment entered for plaintiff for £100. The action arose out of statement* made by defendant during the, laet General Election.
