CAMP AT FOXTON.

MOUNTED RIFLES, [BY TELEGRAPH — SPECIAL TO THE fOST.j PALMERSTON N., This Day. The camp at Foxton at the end of the month for tho training of tho 6th Regiment, Manawatu Mounted Rifles, will be laid down on the western side. of the racecourse. It will be arranged in the foi'm of a square, divided into four quarters, each of which will be occupied by oive squadron, there I being four in camp. Each squadron's ground will be laid off into four lines, one for each troop, of which there are four in each squadron. Each troop's lines will contain five tents, and the men's own horses will be picketed in front of each tent. Two wide streets will be laid off through the camp, one leading to the quartermaster's stores, where the forage for the horses will bo kept, and the other to the cookhouse. The officers' quarters will be immediately in front of the racecourse buildings. Marquees will be provided for lecturerooms for the evenings, whilst it is understood ttfe Presbyterian Church authorities intend erecting a marquee and providing a reading and writing ,room for the men. No. 8 Mounted Field Ambulance will also be in camp under Sur-geon-Major O'Brien, and the Mounted Signalling Section attached to the regiment under Lieutenant Herbert.
