Besides a. donation towards the cost of tho Trades Hall building, the Premier has announced that tho Government in prepared to purchase the »ito n.t a cc*t of £3800, and gnult a perpetual leaee. It will also consider the matter of taking up the Trades Council's overdraft at a private bank, lending sufficient money to complete the building.
