Sir, —lt. \Ya<* with pleasure I noticed the letter of "Eye-witness" in your it-sue of^ Saturday regarding n fund for the widow and children of the lute Fireman M'Leun. 1 believe thai a benefit eonceil in the Town Ilall one evening (not Sunday) would receive extensive Mipport. While we aro sympathising' with thohe who hate been made husbandlesa and fatherless through the appalling wreck of the Titanic, let vis not. forget those \sho have been so sudJy bereft in our own midst.—i aui, et«.» JU.
