A meeting of the Wellington Rugby Referees' AsEooiatkm was held last evening^ Mr. D. M'Kenzie in the chair. - • Six- new members were proposed for .membership. Mr. D. D. Weir attended th© meeting and apologised for certain remarks he had mad a -at the annual meeting of tho Rugby Union. Ho stated that he had spoken in the heat of the moment and without sufficient thought. The statement was received with applause. Messrs. A. C. Kitto and L. Couzens •were recommended for appointment to snatches.
