MUTILATING THE DEAD.
TELEGRAPH CLERK STICKS TO HIS POST. TANGIER, 22nd April. The mutineers at Fez disarmed and imipri&oned eight French civilians. Fifteen military instructors were murdered. The mutineers mutilated the dead and padded the bodies \n the streets. The better class of Moors hid Europeans in their houses. Baclen, telegraph clerk at Fez, did not forsake his post, though the mutineers killed three of his comrades. He telegraphed the news to Tangier, and concluded i " Artt at my post, waiting my turn."
